Jay Barnes

Jay Barnes is an attorney and Realtor in Jefferson City, Missouri with a lifetime of knowledge regarding the mid-Missouri real estate market. Barnes is a graduate of Helias High School, and the University of Missouri Law School. Upon graduating from law school, he worked as a political reporter for a national magazine in Washington, D.C. He returned to Jefferson City to work in the Missouri Senate and then as a speechwriter and policy counsel for former Missouri Governor Matt Blunt. In 2008, he was policy director for the Hulshof for Governor campaign. Today, he practices law in the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, small business formation and litigation, estate planning, probate, criminal defense, and real estate.
